    As part of the cable repair strategy, a contractual partner is being sought for cable fault location who, in the event of a cable fault, can determine the fault location onshore, offshore or in the Wadden Sea on the client's cable systems (energy and fiber optic cables)  in Germany and the Netherlands within the shortest possible time. This includes rough predetermination of the fault location, locating the cable along the respective route and final determination (postdetection) of the fault location with the technical best possible accuracy. For this purpose, the contractor must be able to perform its work in all environments and areas along the respective cable route (onshore, offshore, Wadden Sea). The contractor shall provide the necessary equipment to provide cable fault location services on the Purchaser's energy transmission systems: DC cable systems including Interconnectors — rated voltages up to ±320 kV, — up to 623 km length and — rated voltages up to ±525 kV, — up to 295 km length. AC cable systems — rated voltages up to 220 kV, — up to 80 km length. Further detailed information on the services to be provided can be found in the specifications.

      Qualification System for the Provision of Jack-Up Barges

      This qualification system shall cover the provision of Jack-Up Barges in the German or Dutch North Sea.  The Clients understanding of a Jack-up Barge (JuB) is defined as any non-propelled or self-propelled marine vessel that is fitted with legs and a jacking system that provides the vessel with the capability to elevate the hull above the surface of the sea. Other industry terms used to identify jack-ups are Mobile Offshore Units (MOUs), Self-elevating Platforms (SEPs) and Lift Boats. For each requirement of a Jack-Up Barge the client will issue an invitation to tender/request for quotation (ITT). The Jack up Barge shall support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance campaigns at TenneT's offshore assets. The technical requirements can vary in its nature, depending on the scope of work the Jack-up Barge shall fulfil. In general the Client intends to use such units for crane operations and accommodation of personnel. Beside those main tasks several side tasks may be requested. A non-disclosure agreement (NDA) is to be concluded to protect the confidentiality of the client's information.
