Brief
Universiteit Utrecht has the intent to acquire a Bruker EPR spectrometer system Elexsys E500 for the Inorganic Chemistry and Catalysis group of prof. dr. Bert Weckhuysen, Faculty of Science. The EPR spectrometer needs to be a modular floor standing instrument which is customizable with a variety of exchangeable parts that facilitate the measurement: Of in-situ photo catalytic reactions Of in-situ high temperature experiments up to 1200K Of aqueous solutions and solids In a window cell. It must be possible to use multiple techniques simultaneously (at least Raman and UV-vis), with the option of doing so in transmission. Therefore the cell must have windows on both sides.
