    About the bid

      The object of the procurement comprises the delivery of high-pressure liquid fuel metering systems for two (2) Pratt & Whitney JT4A-11 gas generators. In addition to this the delivery of similar high-pressure liquid fuel metering systems for a total of four (2+2) Pratt & Whitney JT4A-11 gas generators and for one (1) Pratt & Whitney GG4C1-D gas generator shall be quoted as mandatory Options 1, 2 and 3, respectively. The preliminary delivery time for the first two systems is summer 2026, and the options are planned to be exercised during the years 2027 and 2028.Main features of the procedureThe preliminary schedule for the procurement is: INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE This Invitation to Participate has been launched in December 2025. Interested parties are invited to send an application to Participate: Deadline to provide Application see IV.2.2. APPLICATIONS AND THEIR EVALUATION All candidates, who have submitted the application within the set deadline and who meet the minimum requirements set for the candidate’s eligibility will be selected to the negotiated procedure. INVITATION TO NEGOTIATE The candidates selected as tenderers shall be in receipt of an invitation to negotiate and preliminary schedule of negotiations, app. in January 2026. A preliminary Request to tender will also be enclosed to the Invitation to negotiate. NEGOTIATIONS The preliminary time for negotiations is during January 2026. Fingrid shall conduct negotiations separately and equally with each party. The purpose of the negotiations is to finalize the Request to tender. CALL FOR TENDER After the negotiations Fingrid shall send the Final Request to tender to the tenderers . Estimated time for this is in January 2026, and deadline of submission of tenders by the tenderers, approximately in February 2026. EVALUATION OF FINAL TENDERS AND CONTRACT AWARD Fingrid aim to finalize the procurement process during March 2026. Before evaluation of the submitted tenders, Fingrid shall verify that the tenders and the supplies tendered fulfill the requirements of the Request to tender. Tenders contrary to Request to tender shall be excluded from the comparison. The intention is to sign the supply contract during March 2026.
