Brief

The National Transport Authority needs services for the installation, operation, and commissioning of equipment on buses, such as ticketing equipment and supporting items like power and communication cables and mounting poles, for a duration of 5 years, with a maximum total value of 3,650,000 EUR. The service provider will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in On-bus Technology, responsible for bus commissioning and acceptance testing, providing technical guidance/documentation in ticketing equipment/On Bus Technology to other Third Party Service Providers, managing and implementing Proof of Concepts (POC), and providing quality control services on other third parties' deliverables. The services are to be delivered in Dublin.

  • The NTA requires a Service Provider who is experienced in the installation, operation and commissioning of equipment on buses such as ticketing equipment and supporting items such as power cables, communications cables and mounting poles. The Service Provider shall act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in On-bus Technology and will be responsible for the following activities on behalf of the NTA: • Bus commissioning and acceptance testing; • Providing technical guidance / documentation in ticketing equipment/On Bus Technology to other Third Party Service Providers; • Managing and implementing Proof of Concepts (POC); and • Providing quality control services on other third parties deliverables.
