    Københavns Universitet har inngått en avtale med Thermo Electron A/S om å levere et Thermo Scientific Orbitrap Astral™ Zoom massespektrometer, inkludert levering, installasjon og fabrikkstandard akseptansetesting, til Byen København, til en verdi av 4 495 813 DKK. Massespektrometeret skal brukes til høy-throughput plasma-proteomikk og dyp proteomoppkjøp, og skal oppfylle krav til høy masseresolution, kvantitativ ydeevne, dynamisk rekkevidde og følsomhet, inkludert evnen til å anvende TMTpro 18-plex og 35-plex reagenser, levere en MS/MS spektral erhvervelsesrate på 270Hz, og ha en høyopløsningsanalysator med opp til 480.000 i oppløsning ved m/z 200. Det skal også tilby alsidige workflows innen glykoproteomikk, krydsbindingsmassespektrometri og celle-/vævsproteomik, samt levere høy-throughput DIA.

      Purchase of a Thermo Scientific Orbitrap Astral™ Zoom mass spectrometer (instrument only), including delivery, installation, and factory-standard acceptance testing. The acquisition includes a trade-in of one existing Orbitrap Astral instrument currently operated at the Proteomics Research Infrastructure (PRI). The Astral Zoom will be used for high-throughput plasma proteomics and deep proteome acquisition, enabling increased dynamic range, higher ion transmission, and substantially faster duty cycles, which are required for large-scale proteomics studies conducted at PRI.
