HUSLAB Laboratory of Genetics at HUS (Helsinki University Hospital) Diagnostic Center is an SFS-EN ISO 15189:2022 accredited laboratory providing diagnostic and follow-up genetic testing services for patients within the Helsinki University Hospital area. The object of the procurement is an MLPA (Multiplex Ligation-dependent Probe Amplification) assay for the detection of copy number variations (CNVs) in BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes, including all reagents, controls, consumables, software, licences and other components required for routine use of the assay and generation of reportable patient results. The procurement also includes any software, licences, user rights, technical support and related services required for operation of the assay, data analysis and result reporting The contract period shall be two (2) years, after which the agreement shall continue for an indefinite period until terminated in accordance with the terms of the agreement. The estimated annual consumption is approximately 1600 reportable patient samples. The estimate is non-binding and provided for information purposes only. The contracting entity does not commit to any specific purchase volumes or quantities. Actual purchases will be made based on the contracting entity's needs and may be higher or lower than estimated.Main features of the procedureThe procurement shall comply with the Act on Public Procurement and Concession Contracts (1397/2016, referred to as the Public Procurement Act). The procurement value exceeds the EU threshold value. The procedure shall be an open procedure as defined in section 32 of the Public Procurement Act. The procedure shall include the following phases: Contracting entity 1. Opens the tenders 2. Verifies the suitability of the tenderer 3. Checks that the tenders conform to the invitation to tender 4. Compares the tenders 5. Requests and checks certificates and reports on the suitability of the winning tenderer(s) 6. Makes a procurement decision and communicates it to all the tenderers 7. Concludes an agreement with the selected tenderer(s) LANGUAGE OF THE COMPETITIVE TENDERING PROCEDURE Tenders may be submitted in either Finnish or English. Product brochures, technical documentation and other supporting materials may also be provided in either Finnish or English. PARTIAL TENDERS Partial tenders will not be accepted. PARALLEL TENDERS Parallel tenders are not permitted. ALTERNATIVE TENDERS Alternative tenders will not be accepted.
